What Localfront Is
Localfront is a platform that helps local communities organize and mobilize. Each community can have its own public website with features such as a blog, event calendar, news links, donation pages, contact forms, and tools to reach elected officials. Organizers manage their community content from a platform dashboard.
Accounts & Communities
By using Localfront, you agree to the following account and community rules:
- Each user may belong to one community at a time, as enforced by the platform
- Communities have admin and user roles with different permissions
- You may create a new community or request to join an existing one through the platform onboarding flow
- Community admins are responsible for managing their community's content and members
User Conduct
By using Localfront, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Not submit false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Not spam, abuse, or harass other users
- Not use the platform for illegal purposes
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
Content You Submit
When you publish content on Localfront—including blog posts, events, news links, and community pages—you grant Localfront permission to display that content publicly on the platform. You are responsible for ensuring your content is accurate and does not violate the rights of others.
Donations & Third-Party Links
Communities may link to external petition platforms, donation pages, and other third-party services. When integrated donation processing is enabled, payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Localfront is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services linked from community sites.
No Guarantees
Localfront provides tools for community organizing. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, official responses, fundraising results, or the success of any community campaign.
Account Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or pose a risk to the platform or other users. Community admins may also manage membership within their communities according to platform rules.
Limitation of Liability
Localfront is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Localfront after changes means you accept the updated terms.
